Mother's Day Collection

This 12 chocolate collection (image for illustration) is a tribute to some of the great women in British history. These make a beautiful Mother's Day gift on the 15th of March or to celebrate the incredible women in your life on International Women's Day on the 8th of March. I narrowed down a huge list to these four special people, who I find inspirational. This collection also uses 'femme de Virunga' dark milk chocolate, made from chocolate from a female-led co-operative (also available as a bar. Each box contains 3 of each of the below flavours:

Jane Austen: Earl Grey tea ganache. One of the greatest authors and I can't tell you how many times I have read and watched Pride and Prejudice. To me, Jane was a sophisticated Earl Grey tea ganache. You can imagine her witty conversation in a drawing room over a pot of tea!

Annie Lennox: orange and Scottish sea salt. Annie is a pioneer for women in music with her distinctive look and beautiful voice. To me she is bold orange, with a hint of sea salt as a nod to her Aberdeen roots.

Jane Goodall: banana caramel with whole toasted hazelnut. We very sadly lost Jane recently so this is my tribute to a trailblazer in the world of natural science. Banana and hazelnut offer warmth and a connection to nature.

Emmeline Pankhurst: Ginger and lemon. Fiery, sharp and unforgettable. We can never be complacent about our rights and Emmeline Pankhurst showed us what is achievable when we fight for something we believe in. A dark chocolate lemon ganache with a candied ginger and biscuit caramelised white chocolate base.

We recommend that you enjoy these within 3 weeks of receipt.
